Planning algorithms for robotics and computational biology
About
I am a computer science professor at Mount Holyoke College, where I devote time to teaching undergraduates and research in planning algorithms. My research centers on motion planning algorithms applied to robotics and computational biology. I have studied how workspace guidance can be leveraged to improve runtime efficiency and space coverage of motion planning algorithms in robotics and computational biology applications. I am passionate about education and broadening participation in computing.
I am getting my PhD from Texas A&M University, under the supervision of Dr. Nancy M. Amato.
